前不久，东北国际医院国际医疗部迎来了一位远在异国他乡求学的小伙伴Owen，Owen是加拿大多伦多大学药学、生理学双学位在校生，他期望利用假期了解国际医疗业务的开展情况，为后期毕业从事医疗工作打下坚实基础。

Owen, a fellow student studying abroad, was recently welcomed by the International Medical Department at NEIH. Owen is currently undergraduate student at the University of Toronto (hereinafter referred to as U of T) in Canada pursuing a dual degree in both Physiology and Pharmacy. In order to build a strong foundation for his future graduation and professional medical job, Owen intended to utilize his summer vacation to get familiar with the international medical business.

Owen青春帅气、热情开朗、积极乐观、乐于助人，凭借多年外国留学经历及语言优势，他很快就熟悉了国际医疗部相关工作内容并融入到当中来。

Young and vibrant, Owen possesses an enthusiastic and outgoing character and a positive personality, always willing to help others. With years of experience studying overseas and a solid foundation in English communication, Owen quickly became familiar with job responsibilities of the International Medical Department.

为了在仅有的3周实习期内快速提升Owen的综合能力，国际医疗部针对不同的业务模块，开展了系列带教实践活动。

着眼商务合作谈判和汉语文字撰写能力的提升，带教Owen参加了商务会谈，指导其起草合作协议，并根据谈判情况指导其修改完善，将“目标明确、标准高、策划强、执行计划要坚决”的文化理念贯穿带教全程，Owen边学习边实践、边学习边提高，收获颇丰。

The International Medical Department has carried out a series of dedicated training activities by assigned coaches for Owen in regard to different business modules to quickly improve Owen's comprehensive abilities during the three-week internship. With a focus on the improvement of business co-operation negotiation and Chinese writing skills, Owen’s dedicated coach -Mr. MA Changcheng (hereinafter referred to as Mr. MA) took Owen to business talks, guiding him to draft the co-operation agreements and revised and improved accordingly. The cultural concepts of "clear goals, high standards, strong planning, and resolute implementation" were carried out through the whole process of coaching and Owen has made great achievements all through the practice.

着眼极致服务意识及能力的提升，从礼节礼貌（文明用语、手势运用等）、仪表仪态（着装、表情、站姿等）、语气语调（生硬度、亲和力等）等方面进行教与练，同时利用国际保险、沈阳市高层次人才等贵宾前来看诊的时机活学活用到实践中。在陪诊过程中，Owen充分展现出良好的沟通协调能力和细致周到的服务能力，当身边同事介绍Owen是多伦多大学在读学生时，贵宾们无不感到惊讶且赞扬不已。

Mr.MA focused on the ultimate service awareness and ability to improve, from etiquette and manners, instrumentation, tone of voice and other aspects during the training of Owen. Meanwhile, he utilized the timing of VIP patients’ visit to let Owen get involved in the practice. During the accompanied consultation, Owen fully demonstrated good communication and coordination skills as well as meticulous and thoughtful service skills. The guests were all surprised when they were introduced that Owen is just a current undergraduate student from U of T.

为了提升Owen医学知识的临床实践，还特别安排国际医疗部全科医生副主任医师王春婷主任亲自带教，期间王主任为他讲解了临床医学知识、常见疾病分诊、就诊流程及诊断治疗的方法、预防保健、健康管理等相关内容，使得Owen从书本上学到的知识更加具象了。

Mr. MA also introduced Dr. WANG Chunting (hereinafter referred to as Dr. WANG), a physician from the International Medical Department to personally train Owen to improve his medical expertise in clinical settings. Owen's knowledge from books became more tangible at this point as Dr. Wang described to him clinical medical knowledge, common disease triage, treatment procedures and diagnosis and treatment methods, preventive healthcare, health management, and knowledge beyond.

着眼国际保险人士就医VIP全流程服务这一业务，从“预约专家、身份验证、福利查询、就医时间、预约挂号、就医陪诊、化验检查、结果反馈、协助住院、探视关怀、消解矛盾、协助出院、整理材料、结案邮寄、保险公司回款、财务对账”全流程进行了讲解，并由国际医疗部医生助理兼翻译张岩带其实操检验，Owen很快就熟悉掌握了国际保险业务。

With a focus on the full process of VIP services for international insurant seeking medical treatment and under the guidance of Ms. ZHANG, YAN (hereinafter referred to as Ms. ZHANG), the medical assistant and translator from the International Medical Department, Owen quickly mastered the international insurance business process including making appointments, identity verification, welfare inquiry, medical treatment time arrangement, appointment registration, medical accompaniment, laboratory examination, result feedback, assistance in hospitalization, visiting care, resolving conflicts, assisting in discharge, organizing materials, file closing, insurance company payment collection, and financial reconciliation.

实习带教期间，Owen同学还跟随医护专家团队，走进沈阳产业园、走进企业，参与了东北国际医院“惠政惠企惠民健康系列义诊活动”。参加义诊活动过程中，Owen同学深有感悟：东北国际医院在回馈社会、助力企业生产、为人民健康保驾护航上做得扎实且走在前列，彰显大爱的同时也带来显著的社会效益。

During the coaching, Owen also followed the team of medical experts into the Shenyang Industrial Park and enterprises, participating in the "Benefiting Government, Enterprises, and the People - free health consultation activities" of NEIH. During the process of participating in the free clinic activity, Owen deeply realized that NEIH has done a solid and leading role in giving back to society, assisting enterprises in production, and safeguarding people's health, demonstrating great love while also bringing significant social benefits.

在国际医疗部实习期间，Owen同学能够发挥其外语专长优势，将东北国际医院国际医疗部出席美国“独立日”、法国国庆日现场庆典活动宣传报道独立进行了翻译，在国际医疗部医生助理兼翻译张岩指导下，出色完成了任务。

During the internship in the International Medical Department, Owen independently translated the propaganda report about NEIH International Medical's attendance at the American "Independence Day" and French National Day on-site celebrations. He accomplished the work effectively with the assistance of Ms. ZHANG.

3周的实习带教转瞬而逝，Owen与大家结下了深厚的友情，不久后他将重返多伦多大学校园。Owen说：“这段时间的所见、所闻、所思、所想令我终生难忘，感谢东北国际医院国际医疗部给我提供这样一个学习机会，我也会向我的老师和同学介绍东北国际医院，也会推荐我的同学来东北国际医院学习实践。”

Three weeks’ internship was short. Owen has formed a strong friendship with his team members and would soon be returning to campus. Owen said, "What I saw, heard, thought and felt during this time is something I will never forget. I would like to thank the International Medical Department for providing me with such a learning opportunity, and I will introduce NEIH to my fellows and recommend them to choose to intern at NEIH."
