It is the Northeast International Hospital (NEIH)’s goal to not only aid in the global advertisement of the brand “Hello, Shenyang” and strengthen the initiation of events such as “Foreign Affairs+” and “International Shenyang”, but also to facilitate the positive business environment within the Liaoning province and demonstrate the quality of healthcare and services at NEIH. Thus, upon invitation from Consul General, Yin Xiaolan (of the U.S. Consulate General in Shenyang) on the 247th anniversary of the U.S. Day of Independence, MR Guo Bin, the president of ZhongYi Medical Industry, sent representatives with the task of providing the celebration’s healthcare services.

接到医疗保障任务后，东北国际医院会员中心与国际医疗部主任马长城同美国驻沈总领事馆工作人员多次沟通，根据总领馆的请求，评估夏季气候特点及可能出现的突发情况，按照郭斌总裁指示，制定应急预案，抽组急诊医学部副主任赵智博、会员中心全科医生副主任医师王春婷、国际医疗部护士长骆宁、国际医疗部医生助理兼翻译钟洋等，组建精干医疗保障组参加庆典活动并提供医疗保障。

Upon learning of the request, NEIH International Medical Center and International Healthcare Department chief, Ma Changcheng, communicated extensively with the Consulate General’s employees to evaluate all potential hazards associated with summer climate. With directions from Guo Bin, a detailed plan was constructed to address any emergencies that may arise. A team of healthcare professionals consisting of Emergency Medicine Department vice chief Zhao Zhibo, International Medical Center vice chief physician Wang Chunting, International Healthcare Department chief nurse Luo Ning, International Healthcare Department physician assistant and translator Zhong Yang, and many others was formed to further ensure health at the celebration.

For the special occasion, NEIH deployed a highly advanced medical equipment transport vehicle and provided abundant supplies to ensure the safe progression of the celebration.

At the event, numerous Consulate General representatives- as well as other attendees- came to consult the team, additionally posing inquiries regarding the equipment and healthcare environment at NEIH- all of which the team explained in great detail. 

活动期间，会员中心与国际医疗部主任马长城、国际医疗部医生助理兼翻译钟洋与美驻沈总领事馆行政官Rose Eric就总领馆人员来院就诊的流程及细节等情况进行了沟通和协商。

During the celebration, Northeast International Hospital International Medical Center and International Healthcare Department Chief Ma Changcheng and International Healthcare Department physician assistant and translator Zhong Yang underwent elaborate discussion and negotiation with Consulate General administrator Eric Rose regarding the healthcare of the Consulate General’s employees at the hospital.

针对美国总领事馆人员就医保险使用问题达成一致并进入到实质性操作阶段，在总领馆工作人员的协助下，东北国际医院国际医疗部已与国际保险公司AFSPA (FOREIGN SERVICE BENEFIT PLAN) 接洽成功，合作流程正在加紧准备中。

The two parties reached mutual agreement regarding issues associated with the Consulate General employees’ medical insurance expenditure, and with help from the Consulate General, NEIH has successfully connected with AFSPA (Foreign Service Benefit Plan), and cooperation is currently underway.
